Site set-up and interfaces

Access and securitySingle crossover off Hillview Crescent, gate on the western boundary. Site fully fenced with shade cloth; gates locked outside site hours. Stuart and Cameron hold keys — nobody else gets a key without asking.
DeliveriesTrucks pull into the crossover, never onto the nature strip. Crane and concrete pump set up in the driveway with the street coned off — permit held for each occasion.
ParkingTwo spaces on site, the rest on the street. Do not block the neighbours’ driveways at any time.
NeighboursBoth neighbours are living in for the whole build. Shared driveway to the east. No radios, no early starts, and the driveway stays clear.
Public protectionFootpath stays open. Temporary fencing to the frontage with signage and the Site Pass QR. Any work over the footpath is done under a hoarding with a spotter.

Services

Overhead powerlinesLV overhead line on the street frontage — no-go zone applies to the crane and the tipper. Tiger tails fitted for the truss lift.
Underground servicesWater, sewer and gas cross the front yard. Located and marked before any excavation.

FireRaise the alarm, get everyone to the assembly point (front verge, opposite the site shed), call 000. Extinguisher lives at the first aid point in the site shed. Nobody goes back in for tools.
Serious injuryCall 000 first for anything serious. The first aider treats what can be treated on site. Nearest hospital: University Hospital Geelong — 20 min. Somebody meets the ambulance at the gate.
Incidents and near missesEvery incident and near miss goes to the site supervisor the same day and is recorded. Notifiable incidents: preserve the scene and call WorkSafe on 13 23 60 immediately.

Environmental controls

NoiseSite hours only. No demolition or saw work before 8:00am. Neighbours given a fortnight’s notice before the noisy stages.
DustWet-cut or dust extraction on all tools. Debris screens to both boundaries during demolition and breakout.
Sediment and stormwaterSediment fence to the frontage and a shaker grid at the crossover. Street swept at the end of any day we track mud out.
WasteBins on site, separated where we can. No burning off. Nothing stockpiled on the footpath overnight.

How safety runs on this site

Inductions and sign-inEvery person completes the Site Pass induction (QR at the gate, /i/demo) before starting work, and signs in every day they are on site. Inductions are valid 12 months and file automatically into the job record.
SWMS managementSWMS for all high-risk construction work are collected, reviewed and approved in Site Pass before that work starts. Anyone declaring high-risk work at induction without an approved SWMS covering it is automatically stopped until management clears them. Revised SWMS are re-signed at /s/demo, and every SWMS keeps a live signed register.
ConsultationToolbox talk at the start of each stage and whenever the work changes. Hazards, incidents and near misses are reported to the site supervisor the same day. A site walk is recorded every fortnight and anything found is closed out.
SubcontractorsSubcontractors provide their SWMS before starting (self-upload at /swms-upload/demo). No approved SWMS, no start on high-risk work. Insurances and licences are checked before the first day on site.

Notes

NotesThis plan is reviewed at each stage change and reissued if anything material changes. The current issued version is always the one on the QR at the gate.

Site rules and the induction itself are served at the gate QR (/i/demo). This plan is issued by Building Integrity as principal contractor and applies to everyone on site.
